As a Scientific Team Lead in our Flow Cytometry department, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical work of the team and ensuring the operational readiness of equipment, instruments, and personnel. You will be directly responsible for up to 15 direct reports (medical technologists and laboratory assistants).
In more detail, your responsibilities will include:
- Managerial and Leadership Duties:
- Scheduling department personnel appropriately to match the demands of the daily workflow as well as non-production activities, such as validations.
- Providing direct supervision to employees, including assignments, technical and behavioral performance counseling, and troubleshooting when possible.
- Supervision:
- Assigning trained personnel and ensuring sufficient staff are available to complete routine workload.
- Reporting performance and results against targets and global standards.
You will be the point of contact for client-related job duties, supporting marketing and sales efforts as needed. This role requires fluency in French and intermediate level English proficiency. Professional certification (ASCP, AABB, or other) in area(s) of expertise is preferred. Computer literacy is also essential.
