About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Developer to join our team at Ansys. As a Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software products and supporting systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cloud-based software applications using micro-service architectures and APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code, ensuring it meets the company's standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the overall quality of the codebase.
  • Work closely with the product management team to understand customer needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud computing technologies and trends, and apply that knowledge to improve our products and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cloud computing, software development, and DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud-based DevOps tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance regulations.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based data storage and management.
  • Experience with cloud-based monitoring and logging tools.
