Job Summary

The Full Stack Cloud Developer will contribute to the development of software products and supporting systems. This role requires collaboration with a team of expert professionals to design, implement, and maintain software modules and sub-systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform moderately complex development activities, including design, implementation, maintenance, testing, and documentation of software modules and sub-systems.
  • Understand and employ best practices.
  • Work in various computing environments, including desktop (Windows and Linux), cluster, and cloud.
  • Perform moderately complex bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products.
  • Understand marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria, and competitive issues.

Requirements

  • MS in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or other natural science disciplines.
  • Working experience in technical software development proven by academic, research, or industry projects.
  • Good understanding and skills in object-oriented programming.
  • Linux experience.
  • Passion to create high-quality software in a productive team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud and distributed computing technologies, such as micro-service architectures and APIs (gRPC, REST).
  • Experience with Go, Python, Angular.
  • Experience in a team-based software development environment and with version control, such as GIT.
  • Experience with High Performance Computing environments.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team.
