• Contract Management: Provide expert advice on the review, drafting, and negotiation of various contracts, including SaaS, Supply and Consultancy Agreements, Partnerships, and other agreements.
• Contractual Risk Management: Identify and manage contractual risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Data Protection and Compliance: Ensure compliance with Swiss data protection law by reviewing relevant documentation, drafting and reviewing data processing agreements, and conducting due diligence on new suppliers.
• Copyright and Intellectual Property: Advise on copyright-related issues, including the interpretation and enforcement of our policy.
• Trademark Management: Manage ISO Central Secretariat trademark registrations and renewals, assist ISO members in their registration process, and provide support on oppositions or infringement cases.
• Legal Support: Assist in the preparation of governance documents related to the work/mandate of the Legal Services, develop training materials, and provide legal training to ISO staff.
• Anti-Piracy and Compliance: Liaise with and oversee anti-piracy service providers, including the preparation of data analysis on trends and opportunities.
• Knowledge Management: Update the wiki and member portal of the Legal Services pages.
• Staying Up-to-Date: Keep abreast of legislative changes that may affect areas of interest for the organization.

• Expertise: Extensive experience in, and knowledge of contract, data protection, and copyright law.
• Education: Degree in Law. Additional specialization/certificate in IP law and/or data protection would be a clear asset.
• Language Skills: Excellent spoken and written English, including demonstrated drafting skills. Good working knowledge of French would be an asset.
