Transforming IT Product and Platform Delivery

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive the transformation of our IT product and platform delivery. This role will oversee the alignment of our product and platform strategy with business value, ensuring a seamless progression towards a more agile organization.

Responsibilities include developing a taxonomy of products and their attributes, training and maturing the product management community, and establishing guidelines and tools for consistent implementation. The successful candidate will also be responsible for measuring progress and delivering lighthouse products and lessons learned for the organization.

This role requires strong systems and critical thinking, as well as the ability to influence at all organizational levels through clear and concise communication. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving broad-scale organizational outcomes through influence rather than direct reporting, and will be able to work seamlessly across business and technology domains.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Product and Platform Transformation Strategy. Develop a comprehensive strategy for transitioning to a product-centric approach.
  • Product and Platform Ontology. Translate business capabilities into a living view of our product and platform landscape. Author guidance on product and platform design.
  • Transformation Management. Build a decentralized and self-organizing network of product and platform owners. Develop an organizational transformation plan to support the product and platform-centric approach.
  • Stakeholder Engagement. Serve as the primary contact for product and platform transformation, and our progress towards a scaled agile framework. Collaborate with leaders of process excellence, experience design, and agile centers of expertise.
  • Performance Monitoring. Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor the performance and success of the product and platform transformation.
