Electronics Engineer Job Description

Oratek SA, a leading engineering consulting firm, is seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineer to join our team in Ecublens, Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop advanced electronic systems for various applications.
  • Create PCBA production files, define testing and quality control procedures, and oversee production activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct testing and debugging of electronic components and systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including schematics, layouts, and bills of materials.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during the product development lifecycle.
  • Lead certification processes (EMI, safety, radio) and prepare necessary documents.
  • Assemble boards manually and automatically using our pick-and-place equipment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in electronic circuit design and development.
  • Proficiency with electronic design automation (EDA) tools such as KiCAD or similar software.
  • Strong understanding of microcontrollers, embedded systems, and PCB layout (2 to 6 layers).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
