Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Ringier AG. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems that support our business intelligence and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data models that meet business requirements and support advanced analytics use cases
  • Develop and maintain robust and automated pipelines to ingest and process structured and unstructured data from source systems into analytical platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven workflow solutions
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data pipeline

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with PySpark, Python, and SQL
  • Experience with Big Data Hadoop tools such as Pig, Spark, or HDFS
  • Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Knowledge of agile methodology, scrum, and problem-centric solution design
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
