Education Specialist for Secondary School

The British School of Geneva is a reputable international school committed to providing an exceptional education to students. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Education Specialist to join our team.
Job DescriptionWe offer a competitive salary range from 65,000 to 90,000 CHF per year, depending on experience.
This role will involve the provision of scheduled staff duties, form tutoring, and after-school activities. The successful candidate will be expected to prepare students fully for all external examinations.
You must have a PGCE teaching qualification or recognised equivalent, as well as proven ability to lead high-impact student learning. Teaching subjects at BSG include English, Mathematics, Art, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Drama, Economics, French, Geography, History, ICT, Music, Physics, PE, PSHE, General Science, and Spanish.
A minimum of two written references from referees and a current Work Permit to work in Switzerland or residency in Switzerland or as a Frontalier are required.
Responsibilities- Provision of scheduled Staff Duties, Form Tutor, and After School Activities.
- Preparation of students fully for all external examinations.
- PGCE teaching qualification or recognised equivalent.
- Proven ability to lead high-impact student learning.
- Teaching subjects: English, Mathematics, Art, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Drama, Economics, French, Geography, History, ICT, Music, Physics, PE, PSHE, General Science, Spanish.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to contribute to and work effectively within a Subject department and broader staff community.
- Maintenance of accurate data, records, and Curricular Schemes of Learning.
- Facility with using relevant Information technology and complying with in-house systems of recordkeeping.
- Additional contribution to student experience beyond the mainstream curriculum.
- 10-Year Personal Background Police Clearance record (including International child protection certificate or equivalent).
- Two written references from Referees.
- Current Work Permit to work in Switzerland or residency in Switzerland or as a Frontalier.
