About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Secondary School Teacher to join our team at the British School of Geneva. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality education to students, with a strong focus on student success and wellbeing.

Job Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional educator to make a positive impact on the lives of our students. As a Secondary School Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering lessons to students aged 11-18, teaching a range of subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, and Humanities. You will also contribute to the development of the curriculum, assess student progress, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students aged 11-18
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve student outcomes
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attainment
• Contribute to the development of the curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and improve teaching and learning

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• PGCE teaching qualification or recognised equivalent
• Proven ability to lead high-impact student learning
• Fluency in English
• Ability to work effectively within a subject department and broader staff community
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
