About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral research fellow to join our team at Universität Basel. The successful candidate will have a strong background in neuroscience, immunology, or a related field and a proven track record of conducting independent in-vivo studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take the lead role in designing and conducting research projects in neuro-immune interactions in cancer
  • Publish manuscripts as the first author in reputable scientific journals
  • Present research findings at international conferences and lab meetings
  • Collaborate with colleagues to advance our understanding of the innervation landscape of peripheral tumors
  • Develop and implement new research methods and techniques to investigate the role of neurons in regulating tumor immunity
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in neuroscience, immunology, oncology, or a related field
  • Strong interest in neuroscience and/or immunology
  • Experience in conducting independent in-vivo studies and managing genetically modified mouse models
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Commitment to teamwork and collaboration
