Job Title: Scientist Tech Transfer Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Scientist Tech Transfer Specialist to join our team at Hays AG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting commercial manufacturing performance at external manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to the biological drug substance tech transfer process, including deviation resolution, change management, delivery of yield targets, and process optimization.
- Relationship Building: Maintain strong working relationships with external and internal partners, including MS&T, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
- Process Optimization: Develop and maintain strong technical familiarity with process and process equipment, process optimization evolution, and technical problem-solving.
- Progress Tracking: Track progress of routine manufacturing against schedule, provide routine updates, and proactively identify operational risks and remediation.
- Issue Escalation: Ensure timely escalation of potential technical, compliance, or safety issues to the MS&T team and partner with internal MS&T resources to remediate.
- Communication: Ensure effective communication between technical transfer internal and external teams.
- Technology Transfer: Support technology transfer activities as a primary duty.
- Quality and Compliance: Implement and maintain high standards of quality and regulatory compliance to meet and exceed regulatory agency and quality requirements.
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum B.S. in related sciences and solid GMP regulated industry experience or Master's degree in related sciences and solid GMP regulated industry experience.
- Experience: Experience in drug substance manufacturing essential to the role.
- Skills: Strong practical knowledge of technologies related to mammalian cell culture, therapeutic protein purification, and process engineering.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize activities, with a proven ability to work on complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
- Teamwork: Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team, partner with various functions to provide strong leadership to drive risk-based decisions.
- Communication: Demonstrated ability in technical writing, computer-based knowledge, and communication skills.
