Actuator Development Expert

Johnson Electric International AG is seeking a talented Actuator Development Expert to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-performance actuators, including components, following our product development process and ASPICE methodology.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement and process optimization.
• Produce technical documentation and drawings using common Office applications and CAD software (preferably Siemens NX).
• Carry out subject-specified calculations and perform FMEA, test plan definition, release, and validation of components and complete actuators.
• Engage in customer visits and technical discussions during acquisition and development phases.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders through Compliance Matrix.
• Provide technical support for internal and customer projects in an international context.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant role, preferably in a multinational corporation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and proficiency in another European language.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly Unigraphics NX, and other relevant tools and technologies.
• Customer-focused mindset and strong relationship-building skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a willingness to travel as required.
