Human Factors Engineering Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Factors Engineering Team Lead to join our team at Ypsomed AG. As a leading company in the medical device industry, we are committed to delivering high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our Human Factors Engineering team, ensuring the successful planning and execution of Human Factors Engineering programs according to current standards and guidelines. This includes leading and developing the team to ensure high quality and efficiency in project execution, contributing to the development and optimization of industrial and user interface design of our medical devices, and planning, coordination and monitoring of formative and summative HF studies.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading Human Factors Engineering teams, with a customer-oriented approach and a business-driven mindset. They will also have experience in the application of usability/human factors engineering for medical devices and/or combination products, as well as international submissions in the field of medical devices and/or combination products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Human Factors Engineering team to ensure successful planning and execution of Human Factors Engineering programs
  • Develop and optimize industrial and user interface design of medical devices
  • Plan, coordinate and monitor formative and summative HF studies
  • Contribute to the development of usability engineering files for product approvals
  • Consult with product and project managers on regulatory requirements for Human Factors/Usability Engineering

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading Human Factors Engineering teams
  • Customer-oriented approach and business-driven mindset
  • Experience in usability/human factors engineering for medical devices and/or combination products
  • International submissions in the field of medical devices and/or combination products
