We are seeking a skilled Data Protection Specialist 50 to join our Legal Data & Privacy team. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of operational data protection tasks, including providing guidance to business stakeholders, responding to day-to-day business requests, and answering questions on data protection issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the full range of tasks concerning data protection and privacy, including data protection reviews, data incident management, data subject requests, and data transfer agreements.
  • Provide first-hand data protection advice on day-to-day business requests and assume project management tasks for data protection-related projects.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in Swiss and EU data protection laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of professional experience within a bank and areas of either data protection or data governance.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in law; additional certifications in data privacy or technology law are an advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of Swiss and EU data protection laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to efficiently communicate with stakeholders of a broad variety of backgrounds.
  • Positive self-starter with a can-do attitude who proactively approaches challenges in an analytical way.
