Data Protection Specialist

As a Data Protection Specialist - Policy and Compliance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization's data practices are aligned with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Swiss and EU data protection laws
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data protection and compliance awareness and training
  • Conduct data protection impact assessments and provide guidance on data protection best practices
  • Manage data subject requests and ensure timely and effective responses
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging data protection trends and developments, and provide recommendations for enhancements to our data protection practices

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in data protection, compliance, or a related field
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in law, computer science, or a related field
  • Excellent knowledge of Swiss and EU data protection laws and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
