Purpose & Relevance for Global Supply Chain
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of adidas distribution strategy globally.
The Senior Project Manager Global Network Planning is key to ensuring adidas Group distribution network aligns with business growth and provides a competitive edge. This is achieved by driving supply chain network studies in collaboration with Market and Global functions.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead network studies and capacity checks for individual countries while supporting the Director of Network Planning during regional network projects.
- Develop network recommendations in partnership with market SCM and Global partners.
- Coordinate business case development and 'Make or Buy' evaluation in collaboration with Finance, Global partners, and Market CSM.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to Senior Management summarizing study outcomes to facilitate decision-making.
- Ensure all project activities are completed while handing over tasks and documents appropriately.
- Initiate and support continuous improvement activities to enhance network team efficiency, competencies, and scope.
- Gain an understanding of Inbound, customs, distribution, deployment, and transportation capabilities across adidas markets.
- Serve as a trusted partner to supply chain teams and other global functions; provide ad-hoc support and insights when needed.

- Proficient in supply chain management tools like MS-Excel/PowerPoint, Llamasoft, Smartsheet, PowerBi, and Project Management tools.
- Lifelong learning and professional development mindset.
Requisite Education and Experience
- Four-year college degree with a focus on Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum 4+ year experience in project management, strategy, operations, network planning, preferably in SCM.
- Strong experience managing complex projects related to warehousing, distribution, transportation, or process re-engineering.
- Project management certification advantageous.
