About the Role
As a Risk Management Professional at J. Safra Sarasin, you will play a key part in maintaining and enhancing the bank's risk framework. Your responsibilities will include managing and controlling risks and regulatory requirements, as well as integrating risk aspects into our decision-making processes.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a robust risk framework for the bank, including ICS, RCSA, OpRisk, and BCM aspects.
- Monitor risk profiles and regulatory requirements on both company and fund levels, ensuring effective second-line defense.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc risk reports, including FX, liquidity, market, credit, and operational risks, for senior risk management and various committees.
- SUPervise and oversee outsourcing framework.
- Coordinate and perform ad-hoc tasks, such as PRIIP KID production process.
- Support or lead internal projects, process management, and/or fund product initiatives.
About You
- You hold a higher education degree in business administration, economics, or equivalent, with CFA, FRM, or equivalent financial degree or trainings in risk management a plus.
- You have at least three years of working experience in risk management in the financial industry, preferably in asset management or investment funds.
- You possess strong analytical skills, a flexible mindset, and the ability to work independently.
- You are a team player willing to take full ownership of your tasks and responsibilities.
- You have solution-oriented skills with a pragmatic approach and are ready to work closely with colleagues and stakeholders, internally and externally.
- You can work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and make clear decisions.
- You have very good communication skills and fluency in English and German, with French as an additional asset.
