Your Role as a Risk Management Officer
At J. Safra Sarasin Investmentfonds Ltd., you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the existing risk framework. This involves managing and controlling risks and regulatory requirements on both the fund management company and Swiss fund levels. Effective integration of risk factors into decision-making processes is crucial. Strong project management and process control skills are highly valued.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and continuously improve the risk & control framework, including ICS, RCSA, OpRisk, and BCM aspects.
- Monitor risk profiles and regulatory requirements on fund management company and Swiss investment funds levels as a second line of defence.
- Provide inputs and prepare regular and ad-hoc risk reports, including FX, liquidity, market, credit, and operational risks, for the Head Risk Management & Controls and various committees and boards.
- Supervise and oversee the outsourcing framework.
- Coordinate and perform ad-hoc tasks, such as those related to PRIIP KID production processes.
- Support or lead internal projects, process management, and/or fund product initiatives.
- Conduct ad-hoc reviews and participate in risk management and fund-related initiatives.
Your Profile
- You hold a higher education degree in business administration, economics, or a comparable field, with CFA, FRM, or equivalent financial training a plus.
- You have at least three years of experience in risk management within the financial industry, preferably in asset management or investment funds.
- You possess strong analytical skills and a flexible, independent mindset.
- You are a team player willing to take full ownership of your tasks and responsibilities.
- You are solution-oriented with a pragmatic approach and a willingness to collaborate closely with colleagues and stakeholders.
- You can work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and make clear decisions.
- You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English and German, with French being an asset.
