Financial Administrator

Mercanta, a leading coffee importer, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Administrator to support the Finance Controller in their Kingston office.

This is a varied finance role that involves updating and maintaining financial data using SAP, managing online banking, and maintaining the company's cash flow position.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the Finance Controller in maintaining accurate financial records and reports.
• Update and maintain financial data using SAP, including managing online banking and foreign currency contracts.
• Manage the company's cash flow position, including applying for import loans and cancelling loans as necessary.
• Perform daily and weekly bank reconciliations, including foreign currency accounts.
• Assist with stock management and maintain accurate records of incoming shipments.
• Develop and implement new administrative systems to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Maths A Level or equivalent.
• Relevant work experience in a finance or office environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Practical and accurate skills in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to use own initiative and work within teams.
• Good analytical skills.
