Innovation and Strategy Manager

Key Responsibilities:

As a Strategy and Innovation Manager at Ypsomed, you will identify growth areas for our drug delivery systems, contributing to the company's forward-thinking initiatives. You will lead financial analyses of drug delivery devices under development, determining the financial impact of proposed initiatives through commercial viability assessments.

Main Tasks:

  • Develop and recommend device portfolio strategy, ensuring our future offerings align with market needs/preferences and business objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of our existing and under development device portfolio, building bridges across product categories and sales to ensure cohesive portfolio development.
  • Facilitate regular portfolio review meetings with senior management to discuss strategic direction and ensure alignment with overall business strategy and goals.
  • Support cross-functional innovation teams with market segmentation, targeting, and product (re)positioning of existing and future medical device portfolio.
  • Represent the company by actively participating in relevant trade fairs and networking with customers and partners across the pharmaceutical supply chain.

Your Profile:

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 5+ years of experience, ideally in strategy consultancy or internal strategy/innovation/marketing teams. You should have strategic thinking capabilities to translate insights into actionable plans, strong analytical skills for interpreting complex data and making strategic recommendations, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management, and fluency in written and spoken English.
