Luya Foods is a pioneering food startup dedicated to creating innovative, plant-based meat alternatives. We're seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a research assistant in solid-state fermentation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biology, microbiology, biotechnology, or a related field and be eager to contribute to the development of new food products. Key responsibilities will include executing projects related to food fermentation and microbiology, interpreting sensor data, and supporting the development of new products.

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in an MSc program in a relevant field
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment
  • Adaptable mindset and excellent organizational skills
  • Capacity to interpret results and make correlations with literature data
  • Excellent communication skills in English
