Aviation Technician

Pilatus Aircraft Ltd seeks an experienced aviation technician to support the maintenance of our PC-21 aircraft.

We are looking for a skilled professional with extensive technical knowledge and hands-on experience in avionics and electrical systems. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and familiarizing with the FTI aircraft during production in Stans, Switzerland.

You will also provide maintenance support for CLAEX PC-21 FTI aircraft in Torrejón, Spain, from November 2025 to November 2026. Additionally, you may require a training phase in the production line in Stans, Switzerland, depending on your experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and train customer operators on scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, providing technical guidance
• Ensure cooperation and communication between customer support and the customer on-site, responding to technical requests, and coordinating solutions
• Act as Pilatus representative at customer's site, providing exceptional service and support

Your Tasks Include:

1. Calibrating and replacing sensors; troubleshooting issues with the FTI, telemetry system, and its interfaces
2. Providing expert advice and guidance on complex mechanical and technical issues with the PC-21

To succeed in this role, you must have:

• Extensive technical knowledge and hands-on experience with the PC-21, especially in avionics and electrical systems
• Skilled in calibrating and replacing sensors; capable of troubleshooting issues with the FTI, telemetry system, and its interfaces (e.g., MPS/MDS downloads)
• Proficient in MS Office; SAP knowledge is advantageous
• Demonstrates above-average commitment and flexibility regarding working hours and international assignments
• Fluent in written and spoken English (minimum C1); Spanish language skills are advantageous
