Inside Sales Representative for International Vacuum Technology

At VAT, a leading international developer and manufacturer of high-performance vacuum valves and sealing technology, we are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Haag, Switzerland.

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing sales opportunities by researching potential accounts through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Understanding customer needs and requirements and advising on appropriate product selection
- Responding to requests for quotes, applications assistance, and resolving customer issues
- Providing direct support for Direct sales managers, channel partners, and distributors
- Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales manager for further development and closure
- Closing sales through diligent follow-up and achieving quarterly quotas
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Preferred experience of direct or indirect sales, including agent representations
- Base knowledge of CRM administration or data maintenance
- Business Diploma or Degree preferred
- Proficient in full Microsoft Office suites, especially Excel
- Ability to demonstrate good written and oral English and German communication skills
The ideal candidate will have strong customer and team-oriented approach, solution-oriented thinking, goal-oriented, and success-oriented action. You will also be self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
In return, we offer a competitive salary of CHF 80,000 - 100,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as flexible options for hybrid working. Your development according to your strengths and aspirations in your career is of great importance to us.
Please note that this is an estimate of the salary based on industry standards and market conditions in Switzerland.
