Biotechnology Transfer Manager

The Drug Product Services (DPS) division, a successful Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO), has exciting opportunities for talented professionals. As Director - Group Head of Technology Transfer, Global MSAT DPS, you will lead a portfolio of high-complexity customer drug product clinical and commercial transfers for biological drug products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Technology Transfer Leaders to manage projects and customers of varying complexity.

  • Ensure project transfers align with internal and external standards for liquid and lyophilized parenteral drug products.

  • Oversee technology transfer documentation, process validation packages, and regulatory modules.

  • Develop and implement technology transfer strategies across product life cycles.

  • Collaborate with pharmaceutical development, local MSAT organizations, regulatory affairs, and quality/QC functions.

  • Navigate strategic and technical alignment with partner units within the network.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D., MSc, or equivalent experience in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmaceutical engineering, biochemistry, or related fields.

  • Highly experienced (+15 y) in biotech/pharma industry with experience in aseptic DP manufacturing and late-phase/pre-BLA transfers.

  • Development experience in lyophilization and combination DP is desired.

  • Good communication skills and command of English; knowledge of German is highly valuable.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with proven track record as a great teammate.

  • Strong planning and organizing skills, including project management and risk management.
