Viking is seeking a highly skilled Wine Steward to join our team. As a Wine Steward, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring that every wine experience is memorable and enjoyable.

• Support the food and beverage operations, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of all bar menus, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service at all times.
• Conduct daily wine presentations, serve beverages during meal periods, and assist waiters during service.
• Manage bar and cellar inventory, adhering to set par-levels and public health policies.
• Prepare and operate food and beverage activities, ensuring that all standards are met.
• Minimize equipment loss and damage, maintaining immaculate cleanliness standards.
• Participate in daily reunions to understand team operational needs and ensure consistent adherence to Viking's STAR Service Standards.
• Provide exceptional service to guests, maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Uphold impeccable grooming standards, adhering to Viking's image and uniform standards.
• Ensure company property is secured and protected, especially during rough weather conditions.

• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Wine Steward or similar position in a premium brand hospitality and/or restaurant environment.
• Must be a minimum age of twenty-one (21) years old, physically fit, and in good health.
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
• Flexible, stress-resistant, and a committed team player with an exceptional work ethic.
• Guest-focused, service-oriented, positive personality, professional appearance, and impeccable hygiene standards.
