The Maître d'Hôtel has operational responsibility for the Banquet Department. This role assists the Banquet Operations Director in ensuring seamless event execution.

Main Responsibilities

  • Verify banquet setups adhere to event specifications
  • Welcome guests warmly, manage cloakrooms efficiently
  • Recruit and supervise event staff according to requirements
  • Monitor and control service delivery before and during events
  • Ensure staff are aware of served products
  • Provide exceptional guest service aligned with a 5-star hotel's hospitality principles
  • Address customer complaints effectively and escalate concerns to management
Requirements

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • Fluency in English and French
  • CAP/BEP/BTS qualification in catering or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel setting
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure, be creative, and responsible
