About the Role

Société Générale Assurances is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Compliance Officer to join our team in Zurich. As a Trainee Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the bank's compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining a strong reputation in the financial industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a single point of contact between business lines, compliance, and management to facilitate the onboarding of new clients and review of existing clients.
  • Perform due diligence controls to identify and assess potential reputational, PEP, and sanction risks.
  • Validate and update client profiles in referential systems to reflect the KYC assessment.
  • Provide advice and support to business lines, compliance, and management to ensure smooth functioning of KYC processes.
  • Perform other KYC/AML support functions, such as filtering of PEP individuals.
Requirements
  • University or business school graduate with an undergraduate degree qualifying you to work in the financial sector.
  • Fluent business-level English and German.
  • Additional language skills are considered a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of the European and Swiss financial regulatory environment (AML, PEP, tax).
  • Good analytical and writing skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good time management and ability to work autonomously.
