High Yield Credit Analyst

We are seeking a seasoned High Yield Credit Analyst to join our fixed income team at Laz Partners in Switzerland.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in credit research, with a minimum of 5 years' experience covering high yield corporate sectors and generating trade ideas as a credit analyst. A deep understanding of macroeconomic drivers, including growth, inflation, and monetary policy, is essential for success in this role.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with our experienced portfolio manager, who has a proven track record of delivering strong investment performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Generating trade ideas and providing top-down research support to drive investment performance;
- Developing and maintaining in-depth sector expertise, with a focus on high yield corporate sectors;

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:
- A degree in economics or a related field from a top-tier university, with excellent academic performance;
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in HY Credit Research/leveraged finance, with deep sector expertise;
- CFA designation (completed or in progress) is an advantage;
- Fluency in English is required;
- Ability to thrive in a small team environment, with a strong desire to contribute to building a best-in-class investment process.
