Process Training Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Training Specialist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading trainings in manufacturing and ensuring that our team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs for manufacturing staff, including on-the-job training and mentoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that training programs are aligned with business objectives and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing staff, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Represent the manufacturing department in multi-functional teams and externally, including tech transfer and customer interactions.
  • Support the design and purchasing of production equipment and automation systems, ensuring compliance with applicable cGMP requirements.
  • Lead and develop Manufacturing Excellence initiatives to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Build and maintain relationships with other support functions, including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Engineering.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Food Science.
  • At least 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical operations in a GMP-relevant environment.
  • Experience in biotech processes, sterile processes, or single-use equipment handling or CIP/SIP processes.
  • Fluency in German and English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work on-call duties and travel up to 15%.
  • Experience in a matrix environment and automated technology is a plus.
