Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Training Specialist to lead our trainings in operations at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs to support the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for manufacturing staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Engineering, to ensure training programs meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Design and implement onboarding programs for new manufacturing staff to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, including manuals, guides, and online resources.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted training programs.
  • Measure the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Represent the manufacturing department in multi-functional teams and externally, including tech transfer and customer interactions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Biology.
  • At least 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical operations in a GMP-relevant environment.
  • Experience in biotech processes, sterile processes, or single-use equipment handling or CIP/SIP processes.
  • Fluency in German and English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and travel up to 15%.
  • Experience in automated technology is a significant advantage.
