About the Institute of Insurance Economics
The Institute of Insurance Economics at the University of St.Gallen is a leading research institution in the field of risk management and insurance. We are committed to fostering academic development and collaboration with national and international corporate partners.
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate (PhD Position) to join our team. The researcher will benefit from a focused research environment dedicated to developing valuable analytic skills and gaining deep insights into diverse areas of risk management and insurance.
Job Description
The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in risk management and insurance, as well as demonstrated suitability to work on analytical problems. A first practical experience in a profession closely related to risk and insurance management is required. Previous research experience in an insurance-related environment is a definite plus.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Oustanding master's degree in management, finance, mathematics or related fields from a university or a business school.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
