Senior Data Center Solutions Consultant

Stone Sourcing AG, a leading IT consultancy in Zürich, is seeking a highly skilled Pre-Sales Engineer with expertise in Cisco technologies to join our team.
About the RoleThis position focuses on providing technical leadership and solutions design for data center infrastructure, network automation, and transitions. As a key member of our pre-sales team, you will collaborate with our sales team to understand customer requirements, develop technical solutions, and create proposals that meet their needs.
Main Responsibilities- Pre-Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible solutions.
- Automation & Orchestration: Develop and implement automation strategies using tools like Ansible, Python, and Cisco DNA to streamline network operations, improve service delivery, and reduce manual effort.
- Proof of Concept (POC): Lead POC efforts to demonstrate the viability of proposed solutions and prove the value of our recommended approach to clients.
- Technical Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and presentations to articulate the technical benefits of our solutions to clients and stakeholders.
- Technical Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including network diagrams, configuration guides, and solution blueprints.
- Customer Relationships: Build strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor and partner throughout the sales cycle.
- Language Skills: Fluency in German and English.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solution architecture, or a similar technical role within a data center environment.
- Certifications: CCIE or CCNP certification in Data Center, Routing & Switching, or Enterprise Networking.
- Cisco Expertise: Strong expertise in Cisco technologies, including Cisco ACI, Nexus, UCS, and DNA Center.
- Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with network automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Python, or Cisco DNA.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into business value for non-technical stakeholders.
