Bell is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic (B1) to join our team in Zurich. As an integral part of our Swiss entity, you will play a crucial role in the future development of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain aircraft systems by performing diagnostic and mechanical duties on one or more jet and/or turboprop aircraft models, involving diagnoses of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly or adjustment of various aircraft systems.
- Carry out complex repairs by checking, correcting or replacing a variety of complex aircraft assemblies and optional equipment installations.
- Requires knowledge of annual and progressive inspection procedures set forth in aircraft maintenance manuals.
- Perform modification work on aircraft systems and/or structures.
- Responsible for clear, concise and accurate written reports in logs, inspection reports, and in parts identification for issue and return documents.
- Conduct functional checks, instrument tests and alignment, and preventive maintenance on same.
- Performs duties in a manner consistent with the latest state of the art and highest standards of safety for maintaining aircraft in the most airworthy and reliable condition for the customers' safety.
- Use specialized tools to repair and modify systems or assemblies.
Qualifications:
- Graduated Apprenticeship in a technical field.
- Preferably EASA B1 licensed.
- Hands-on experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician.
- Highly self-motivated team player.
- European citizen or with the permission to work in Switzerland.
