Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Humanitarian Partnerships Officer to join our team at UNICEF. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and strengthening partnerships with key stakeholders, including governments, NGOs, and private sector organizations, to support UNICEF's humanitarian programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement partnership strategies to engage key stakeholders and build alliances that support UNICEF's humanitarian goals;
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key partners, including government officials, NGO representatives, and private sector leaders;
  • Provide technical assistance and capacity-building support to partners to enhance their ability to respond to humanitarian crises;
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities for partnership development;
  • Develop and manage project proposals and budgets to secure funding for partnership initiatives;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on partnership activities, outcomes, and impact;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in International Relations, Global Affairs, or a related field;
  • At least 3 years of experience in humanitarian partnership development, preferably in a UN agency or international organization;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively;
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in French or Spanish an asset;
