Key Responsibilities:

• Consult and support business partners on all matters relating to the sourcing of professional services, developing and executing procurement strategies within complex, high-spend, and highly visible categories.
• Lead the implementation of tender initiatives and contract negotiation as project lead via e-sourcing tools.
• Establish and maintain close relationships with internal and external business partners as well as vendors, managing a challenging, broad role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment for multiple client accounts.
• Coordinate commercial, operational, and legal aspects with relevant experts in a cross-functional team.
• Collaborate on global procurement strategies and implement regional requirements.
• Provide key stakeholder support in the sourcing lifecycle, including driving sourcing, RFI, RFP, evaluation, drafting, contracting, onboarding, negotiations, operational tasks related to projects and requests, and diverse aspects of supplier management.
• Collaborate on special projects in interdisciplinary global teams.

Requirements:

• University degree in business administration, finance, economics, supply chain management, or equivalent.
• Several years (> 8 years) of progressive experience in indirect procurement of professional services in an international corporate environment or in sales/BD at a global professional services firm.
• In-depth experience in reviewing, negotiating, and executing contracts with vendors, understanding how professional services contracts (including master service agreements and supply orders) are scoped, structured, and cost-controlled.
• Experience in senior stakeholder management and managing complex vendor/client relationships, including proven ability to build rapport with clients and maintain professionalism in communications with all levels of client stakeholders.
• Expert knowledge of technologies, processes, tools, contractual, and legal aspects of professional services contracts, with secure command of e-sourcing tools (SAP Ariba, Ivalua, Jaggaer, Archlet).
• Good analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex content, figures, and interfaces, utilizing procurement and financial data to understand spending trends and leverage that information to identify procurement insights that result in process efficiencies or cost savings for the client.
• Proactive, flexible, and client-focused personality with excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a broad negotiation toolkit and the ability to function effectively in the face of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity.
