Biomedical Materials Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our Biomedical Materials Focus Area at the AO Foundation. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of advanced biomaterials and manufacturing technologies for musculoskeletal disorders therapies.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop dynamic materials for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine
- Collaborate with the Baltic Biomaterials Center of Excellence in Riga, Latvia
- Contribute to educational activities and share best practices
- PhD degree in a relevant discipline
- Excellent laboratory skills in chemically modifying soft biomaterials
- Experience in cell encapsulation, vasculogenesis, and related biochemical assays
- Eligibility to apply and obtain a Visa for temporary residence in Switzerland
- Good English language skills
- Training at the forefront of biomaterials research
