Supply Chain Management Data Analyst Role
We are seeking a Supply Chain Management Data Analyst to join our global Supply Quality and Development team within HITACHI ENERGY LTD.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and executing data collection strategies from various supply chain management systems
- Cleaning, transforming, and preparing supply chain data for analysis
- Defining KPIs, developing and maintaining automated dashboards, reports, and data models using Celonis and Power-BI for supply quality and/or SCM sustainability
- Validating processes in factories to ensure adherence to system standards in Quality and P&F teams
- Maintaining the SQ-SharePoint and updating content as necessary or upon request
- Conducting in-depth data analysis to identify bottlenecks, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement
- Creating clear visualizations to communicate insights and recommendations to SCM stakeholders
- Becoming an expert on key internal and external data sources for SCM, identifying opportunities to leverage new data sources/features to improve existing or develop new analytic solutions
- Leveraging close working relations with different touchpoints within the organization such as IT, Masterdata, SAP, etc.
- Working on ad-hoc requests to clean up or create new dashboards in PowerBI
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field and 5 years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably within the Supply Chain domain.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and root causes from complex data sets, advanced Excel skills, and good knowledge of other fundamental MS Office applications.
Additionally, we are looking for experience in using and administrating MS SharePoint and MS Teams, proven experience with data visualization tools like Power BI to create impactful dashboards and reports, and knowledge of Visual Basic for Application (VBA), DAX functional language for Power-BI, and SQL for querying data from relational databases.
Language
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential for this role.
