About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our Logistics Tools Development Team at Lufthansa Systems FlightNav AG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development: Design, develop, and implement scalable and robust software solutions that meet the requirements of our customers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external teams to ensure smooth project execution and effective communication.
  • Code Reviews and Mentoring: Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure high-quality code and knowledge sharing.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely manner to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in existing software applications and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in Windows development with C# and.NET.
  • Education: Academic degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, application design, and relational database design. Familiarity with GIT, continuous integration, and deployment, as well as test-driven development is beneficial.
  • Communication: Strong English skills (spoken and written) and good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
