Job SummaryWe are seeking a talented Solutions Engineer to join our Solutions Engineering team in Switzerland. As a Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our managed services production environment, ensuring operational excellence, and improving the reliability and operability of our software solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy telemetry to monitor system health and performance
- Ensure the operational excellence of our managed services through software engineering and incident management
- Improve the reliability and operability of our software solutions by eliminating software defects and adding scalability and performance improvements
- Provide ongoing support of existing environments, including incident management, code upgrades, health checks, and optimization projects
- Advise clients on API best practices and assist with integration middleware development
- Work closely with engineering teams to resolve client issues and drive customer satisfaction
- 4-5 years of hands-on experience in deploying, integrating, and maintaining products in complex environments and organizations, with experience in financial services a plus
- 2-5 years of experience in software development
- Experience in a client-facing role with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience maintaining high availability in remote production environments and familiarity with VDIs and virtualization technologies
- Proven experience in various DevOps build and testing processes, release management, and product lifecycle management
- Strong knowledge of modern DevOps tooling, including Linux, Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Python, GoLang, YAML, and Bash/shell scripting
- Experience maintaining production environments in a managed service or SaaS environment
- Eager to learn, highly focused on team results-oriented
- Experience with additional programming languages, such as Java, Python, Rust, or JavaScript
- Knowledge or experience with relational databases
- Experience with service management/support tools, such as Jira Service Management or Zendesk
