The successful candidate will provide expert economic insights, conduct in-depth research, and formulate rigorous assessments of macroeconomic trends, regulatory changes, and market developments.
Key Responsibilities- Economic Analysis: Apply advanced economic analysis to understand and interpret developments in the re/insurance sector.
- Industry Research: Investigate and analyse insurance-specific trends, such as take-up rates, historical claims patterns, and competitive market dynamics.
- Thought Leadership: Draft high-quality research reports, white papers, and presentations for both internal stakeholders and external publication.
- Policymaking Impact: Evaluate the economic implications of regulatory and legislative policies for re/insurers and possible industry responses.
- Collaboration: Build a network of experts within and outside the insurance industry to strengthen the GA's research.
- Presentations: Showcase GA research through presentations to senior insurance executives and other stakeholder engagements.
- Education: Master's or Ph.D. in Economics or Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in publishing economic research and working in the insurance industry.
- Analytical Skills: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate applied research into compelling insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write and present research for technical and non-technical audiences.
