About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Developer - Automation Specialist to join our team at KPMG. As a key member of our Financial Services team, you will play a crucial role in advising clients on strategic initiatives and driving the transformation of financial institutions' business, operating models, and sustainability journeys.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and design automation solutions to improve development and release processes, ensuring seamless integration with our clients' existing systems.
  • Build and implement Linux-based infrastructure and build pipelines to deploy Linux-based applications, leveraging your expertise in cloud computing and DevOps.
  • Configure and automate deployment of cloud environments using an infrastructure as code approach, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Implement enterprise-scale technology solutions featuring containerization, event streaming, low-code, and data ETL technologies, driving business value and innovation.
  • Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Implement automated quality assurance processes, ensuring high-quality deliverables and meeting client expectations.
  • Collaborate with software developers and engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and deployments are successful and stable.
  • Undertake system troubleshooting and issue investigation, providing timely and effective solutions.
Requirements
  • One to four years of professional experience in a related field.
  • Strong ethical behaviors and high integrity, aligning with KPMG's vision and aspirations.
  • Good knowledge of SQL, Power Automate, and database concepts.
  • Good knowledge of Git workflows.
  • Willingness to learn and independent working style.
  • Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Linux operating system.
  • Experience of Microsoft Azure.
