Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and experienced UX researcher to conduct in-depth research, gather user insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement user-centric design improvements.
About the Role:
This role will play a crucial part in advancing the usability and functionality of two of Google's most widely used products. You will plan, conduct, and analyze various user research methods such as interviews, surveys, usability studies, and field studies.
You will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate research findings into actionable recommendations that drive product enhancements. Your expertise will be essential in advocating for the user by championing user-centric design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in conducting user research for digital products, preferably in the field of mapping/navigation or data analytics. They will possess strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
A collaborative mindset and excellent communication and presentation skills are also essential in articulating research findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, conduct, and analyze various user research methods
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate research findings
- Advocate for the user by championing user-centric design principles
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to prioritize research opportunities and inform product decisions
- Create and present compelling reports, presentations, and findings to stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field
- Proven experience in conducting user research for digital products
- Proficiency in a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods and tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and data visualization tools
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and methodologies
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and experimental design
Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per year (dependent on experience)
