Data Specialist

Your Contribution

We are committed to making informed decisions for our products, and to achieve this, we require a skilled Analytics Engineer to join our Data Platform & Product team.

Together, we will establish SonarSource's products as the premier code analysis solution globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement analytics domains aligned with business priorities, adhering to Data Mesh principles.
  • Assist functional domains in their journey towards data ownership.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analytics engineers, and data product owners to define and achieve data objectives.
  • Manage DBT Cloud and data visualization tools, including Tableau.
  • Advance our implementation of DBT Mesh.
  • Oversee the data catalog, manage metadata additions, and ensure alignment with organizational needs.
  • Ensure key metrics are accessible, well-defined, and validated.
  • Enhance the observability capabilities of the data platform.
  • Engage in proactive data exploration and provide insights to various stakeholders.
  • Work with stakeholders to determine the analytics they require based on business and technical specifications.
Required Skills
  • Proven experience in developing analytics components, with knowledge of big data architecture, data modeling, SQL queries, and dashboarding.
  • A passion for data exploration and maintaining a comprehensive data catalog.
  • A collaborative, enthusiastic, and organized team player who values knowledge sharing and constructive feedback.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI.
  • Experience with SQL, Python (including pandas and matplotlib), Git, and Jupyter.
