Job Title: Project Manager for Global HRIS

The Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager for Global HRIS to lead the implementation of a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) across 11 countries. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end implementation of the HRIS, ensuring a phased, timely, and smooth deployment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Lifecycle Management: Lead the HRIS implementation through project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Project Planning and RFP Development: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with stakeholders, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Vendor Management: Serve as the primary contact for HRIS vendors, ensuring contract compliance and performance.
  • Stakeholder Mapping and Engagement: Identify and engage project stakeholders for communication and alignment.
  • Workshops, Business Requirements: Lead workshops to gather and document requirements, document business requirements and track system configuration progress.
  • Implementation Planning & Project Roadmap: Develop country-specific phased implementation plans ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Data Migration and Integration: Develop and track data migration plan for new HRIS in collaboration with the implementation partner, and other stakeholders.
  • System Design, Configuration and Testing: Lead HRIS configuration, including workflows, application and data security framework, user roles, and reporting.
  • Training and Change Management: Manage global training programs to ensure HRIS proficiency across roles and regions.
  • Rollout and Go-Live: Coordinate phased go-live across countries, minimizing disruption.
  • Post-Implementation Support: Coordinate for establishing support structures (helpdesk, country teams) for system maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in computer science, or information management. Certification in Project Management would be a plus.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale HRIS implementations across multiple countries.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, data management, and HRIS functionality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; can work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working in a global, multicultural environment.
  • Ability to travel as required to support project needs.
