Job Description

This exciting opportunity requires a senior data architect with experience in enterprise architecture, requirement engineering, and scrum methodologies. The ideal candidate will lead a team of data engineers to build upon our Data Lakehouse foundation and provide innovative solutions to current data challenges while enabling technology modernization programs.

  • Work closely with various departments to understand their data needs.
  • Prioritize projects based on business impact.
  • Communicate effectively with executives and project sponsors.
Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Support departmental data requirements.
    • Streamline project prioritization based on business value.
    • Elevate executive-level communication.
  • Team Management:
    • Guide a team of data engineers.
    • Foster collaboration and growth within the team.
    • Provide education on technical expertise to team members and business partners.
    • Empower business users to access and utilize data effectively.
  • Requirement Engineering and planning:
    • Gather and document business requirements.
    • Refine product backlog for efficient delivery.
    • Maintain alignment with business objectives.
  • Delivery management:
    • Oversee deliverables and ensure timely project execution.
    • Collaborate with leadership and teams to define and plan sprints.
  • Data Governance & Audit:
    • Oversee data governance practices for compliance and security.
    • Lead audit processes to ensure regulatory adherence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with Enterprise Architectures.
  • Experience with Requirement Engineering and Scrum Methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Azure Data Stack experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change.
