Rothschild & Co Asset Management
As the specialized asset management division of the Rothschild & Co group, we offer personalized asset management services to a broad client base comprising institutional investors, financial intermediaries, and distributors. Overview of Role
As a dynamic and entrepreneurial professional fluent in German/Swiss German, you will play a key role in expanding Rothschild & Co's Asset Management business in Switzerland.
The ideal candidate has experience in the Asset Management industry, holding a business development position in the Swiss market. You will co-lead local business development activities and manage your own client portfolio, reporting directly to the Head of Northern Europe.
Responsibilities
- You will identify new business opportunities for Rothschild & Co Asset Management Switzerland while maintaining relationships with existing clients. Our clients primarily consist of banks, family offices, and independent asset managers.
- You will be accountable for your client portfolio, striving to meet clear yearly growth targets.
- Marketing, Communication & Branding: Organize local marketing activities, communication, roadshows (webinars), and events, achieving a satisfactory participation rate.
- Stay up-to-date with key market developments and expand your knowledge of various markets and target client bases.
- Closely collaborate with diverse teams across locations within Rothschild & Co Asset Management.
Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
- Minimum of five years of experience in the financial industry, holding a similar position in Switzerland.
- Develop long-term, professional relationships that add value to our clients and contribute to the growth of our business.
- Experience in leading client pitches and closing deals.
- A comprehensive understanding and ability to explain the entire product range (Traditional long-only funds, ESG range, Private equity) to various client types.
- Able to work autonomously as well as in a team, exhibiting an entrepreneurial spirit and a hunter's profile.
- Strong interest in financial markets and investments.
- Excellent social and communication skills.
- Native German/Swiss German speaker, fluent in English (French language is a plus).
- Responsible, ethical, and able to represent the Rothschild & Co branding.
