Senior OpenText Asset Management Specialist

AarkTech Solutions GmbH is looking for a Senior OpenText Asset Management Specialist to maintain, enhance, and support our OpenText Asset Manager platform. This role requires expertise in platform administration, troubleshooting, and integration with other IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain the OpenText Asset Manager platform for high availability and performance.
  • Perform system maintenance, including patching, upgrades, and configuration changes.
  • Manage infrastructure components such as servers, storage, and databases.
  • Implement backup, recovery, and performance optimization strategies.
  • Provide expert 3rd level support and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Analyze and resolve incidents while implementing preventative measures.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to ensure seamless integration and issue resolution.
  • Develop and implement platform enhancements, workflows, and integrations.
  • Participate in agile development processes and contribute to the platform's strategic direction.
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, troubleshooting, and developed solutions.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience administering and supporting OpenText Asset Manager (formerly Media Management).
  • Strong knowledge of OpenText Asset Manager architecture and functionalities.
  • Experience in infrastructure management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze root causes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing abilities.

Location: Switzerland (Valid Swiss work permit required)
