Regulatory Affairs Director

BD seeks a Regulatory Affairs Director to lead its international regulatory advocacy efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public or regulatory affairs and experience developing, implementing, or analyzing regulatory policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop advocacy strategies for priority regulatory policy issues that span BD's businesses and regions.
  • Work with Regulatory Affairs, Quality and Compliance to identify key external stakeholders and develop strategies to educate policymakers on BD's needs.
  • Lead external advocacy discussions with select industry groups and coordinate with the Regulatory and Public Affairs team.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to coordinate engagement activities with trade associations and other industry groups.
  • Support the preparation of communications to stakeholders through various modes of communication.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in life sciences, engineering, health, or a related field.
  • 7 or more years' experience in Public or Regulatory Affairs or a similar function.
  • Strong working knowledge of global regulations.
  • Ability to translate organizational needs into strategy and leverage internal experts, external partners, and coalitions to advance policy positions.
