Technical Service Specialist

As a Technical Service Engineer at Medtronic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical devices and systems. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in a multinational organization and work with cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform maintenance and technical support for equipment, integrated systems, and subsystems at customer sites and/or on-site.
- Analyze and evaluate products and their performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain effective customer communication and relationships to ensure satisfaction.
- Provide technical advice to customers, sales staff, and medical professionals on product-related questions, problems, and issues.
- Support sales staff with technical data required for product demonstrations.
- Liaise between sales staff and customers on technical issues.
- Provide technical support via telephone or remote technology.
- Training in electrical engineering or electrotechnical certificate.
- Knowledge of mechatronics, including electromechanical systems, control electronics, digital control systems.
- Fluency in French, German, and English, both written and spoken.
- Experience or strong knowledge in Big Capital, i.e., O-Arm, navigation systems, or the Hugo robotic system.
- Availability to travel almost all the time.
- Understanding of complex systems, knowledge of large-scale systems, ideally in a medical environment.
- Ability to manage and solve problems.
- Ability to work independently with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
