At Verity Studios AG, we're seeking a talented Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our Pallet Insights squad. This team is dedicated to optimizing warehouse operations by combining data from our autonomous drones with clients' existing systems.

The ideal candidate will be a technical leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to push the boundaries of warehouse automation. As a key member of the squad, you'll be responsible for developing new features for our autonomous inventory system, ensuring seamless integration with client operations while delivering outstanding user satisfaction and value.

Your Role:

  • Develop cloud-based features, applications, services, and pipelines as part of a cross-functional team, focusing on scalability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with product managers and clients to understand the product end-to-end and design impactful solutions.
  • Drive engineering excellence by improving system architecture, testing strategies, and development workflows.
  • Own projects end-to-end, from concept to production, working closely with your squad and product manager.

Your Experience:

  • A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field is required.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in developing and delivering production-grade software, preferably in distributed event-based systems, machine learning, and data-intensive applications.
  • A proven track record as a technical and project leader, with expertise in collaborating across functions, managing stakeholders, and taking ownership of projects and solutions.
  • Highly skilled in Python application development, with experience deploying and operating workloads in the cloud, preferably on AWS.
